Projection Summit Features Two New Technology Showcases

Projection Summit 2008 will feature three new technology showcases this year -- the latest generation pico and pocket projectors and short-throw projectors. The showcases will allow attendees and the media to see these new classes of projectors and screens in light-controlled environments.

The Showcases will be open to all Projection Summit and InfoComm registered attendees and media.

Monday, June 16th 10:00 AM – 7:30 PM
Tuesday, June 17th 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM

Pico- and Pocket-Projector Showcase

Projectors will be arranged by approximate lumen output level: pico projectors will be under about 20 lumens, with pocket projectors running from about 75 to 150 lumens.

“These new classes of projectors are generating a lot of excitement in consumer and professional segments, so having a collection of them in one place to facilitate viewing and interaction with developers offers value to attendees and exhibitors alike,” said Chris Chinnock, President of Insight Media, the organizer of Projection Summit.

The cost to participate is $1,500 for one projector and $2,000 for two projectors. In addition, exhibiting companies are offered a 20% discount on the cost of registering for Projection Summit.

Short-throw Projector Showcase

The recent and substantial commercial success of this class of front projector products makes this showcase both timely and important. Within the Showcase, the short-throw projectors will be presented side by side and under similar conditions. This showcase will allow exhibitors to present their wares to a highly focused audience, allowing exhibit visitors to see all the latest products and technologies at one time and in a single venue.

The cost to participate is $1,500 for one projector and $2,000 for two projectors. In addition, exhibiting companies are offered a 20% discount on the cost of registering for Projection Summit.
